TIMERS STUDIO
MASTER YOUR FLOW

About Timers Studio

Timers Studio is a professional timer platform for live events and broadcast, built by a team that spent years calling shows, running rundowns, and debugging show-control tooling that kept breaking at the worst moment. The platform exists because we wanted something better.

Our mission

Live production is a hostile environment for software. Every second counts, every surface must stay in lock, and there is no retry when a keynote is on air. Most timer tools on the market still feel like demos: they work until they don't, and they never quite match the brand or the broadcast style. Our mission is to ship a timer platform that production teams can trust under show pressure, with sub-frame sync across surfaces, first-class Stream Deck support, and a REST API that integrates with the automation stack they already own.

We believe professional tools should feel professional. That means themes that actually match the broadcast style guide, documentation that assumes you know what a rundown is, and support that responds in minutes when a show is about to go live.

How we got here

Timers Studio started as an internal tool for a handful of live shows and corporate events. The first version replaced the fragile chain of OBS overlays, browser tabs, and stopwatches that the show caller was juggling. After running it on dozens of events, we realized the pain was universal: every production team has the same problem, and most have built the same fragile workaround.

We rebuilt the platform from scratch with the constraints of broadcast in mind: sub-100 ms state propagation over WebSockets, persistent session state so a reconnecting browser rejoins mid-show, ephemeral per-event URLs so customer events stay private, and a moderator dashboard that lets one operator push messages without breaking the show caller's cue stack.

What we build

The platform ships six timer formats (countdown, count-up, wall clock, stopwatch, duration, time-of-day), a structured rundown agenda player, custom designer themes, a moderator dashboard, a stage architect view for multi-surface setups, and a Gateway audience engagement surface. Native integrations cover Elgato Stream Deck via WebHID, Bitfocus Companion with 30+ actions, vMix, OBS Studio, n8n, and any HTTP client through a 53-endpoint REST API with OpenAPI 3.1 spec.

Every feature exists because a real production team asked for it. We do not build features for feature lists.
